Refund Policy

Our commitment

We want you to be happy with your custom song. If something goes wrong or you are not satisfied, we will work with you to fix it or refund you as set out below.

When we refund

We offer refunds in the following situations:

• Before your song is created — You change your mind or cancel before we have started or completed the song. We will refund the full amount you paid.
• We cannot deliver — We are unable to create or deliver your song (e.g. technical failure, service withdrawal). Full refund.
• Not satisfied with the result — You have received your song but are genuinely unhappy with it. We may offer a redo or a full or partial refund, depending on the situation.

Before your song is created

If you cancel or request a refund before the song has been completed and sent to you, we will refund the full payment. Refunds are processed via Paystack (the same channel you paid with) and may take a few business days to appear in your account.

After you receive your song

If you have already received your song and are not satisfied, contact us first. We may be able to revise the song (e.g. lyrics or style) at no extra cost. If we cannot resolve the issue, we may offer a full or partial refund at our discretion. We do not offer refunds simply because the song does not match an unspecified expectation; we will consider each case fairly.

How to request a refund

Email us at team@yoursong.co.za with your order details (e.g. tracking number or email used to order). Tell us why you are requesting a refund and we will respond as quickly as possible, usually within a few business days.

Processing refunds

Approved refunds are processed through Paystack. The amount will be returned to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it can take 5–10 business days (or sometimes longer) for the refund to show in your account. We do not control this timing.
